It has been a month and a half since the earthquake hit in the Tohoku Region of Japan.
I am glad that many people have been able to resume their normal lives, but not everything can be as it was before.  We cannot forget that many lives were lost and that many people continue to suffer under very difficult conditions.  This does not mean that we should despair; instead, we should join hands and keep hope in our hearts and minds. That’s what we can do for Japan even though we are so far away.  I will be pleased if, through the power of music, I can contribute, even just a little bit, to the recovery of my hometown of Sendai and the Tohoku region.
