The Dublin (Ohio) Taiko Drum performance group, which is made up of middle and high school students, and has performed at Walt Disney World and many international festivals in Ohio and Kentucky, will be performing their high energy and original taiko compositions.  22 students will perform that evening and introduce the pieces they will be playing.

Nolan “Skip” Kuker, Executive Director of the HEDC states, “We at the HEDC are very happy to have the Dublin group come to our community for this free performance.  This is going to be a wonderful opportunity for Hancock County and others in the region to experience a fun cultural event with these traditional Japanese drums.”

The funds for the performance were procured by the HCA from the Hancock County Community Foundation though the generosity of the 2012 Hancock County Performing Arts Endowment, directed by Herb and Judy Brown and also the Arts and Culture fund.

The H.J. Ricks Centre fees were sponsored by the HCVB and translation provided by JASI.

The various groups have allowed this to be a free and open to the public event.  The theater will hold the first 350 persons into the Centre at 122 W. Main Street, Greenfield, Indiana.
